Job Description

The Trade Marketing and Buyer - Beauty Sector will have the following responsibilities :

  • Drives trade strategy by preparing and negotiating the trade book, pricelist, annual trade calendar, and all brand activations within allocated coop budgets.
  • Coordinates all operational trade activities across internal teams and ensures clear communication of objectives, themes, and performance to stores and sales teams.
  • Leads promotional planning and negotiation, builds the annual promotion calendar, defines mechanics per period, and ensures accurate system encoding and flawless execution.
  • Monitors performance (sales, margin, rotation, promotional & trade results) and shares weekly insights internally and externally to guide decisions.
  • Oversees budget management and invoicing for trade tools, promotional actions and provides audit‑ready documentation.
  • Acts as the main contact for Nielsen, organizing performance reviews, sharing reports, and managing cost reallocation while ensuring KPI alignment across brand support materials.



The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in trade marketing or buying
  • Proven negotiation skills, able to secure annual agreements, trade budgets, promotions, and activations.
  • Excellent command of English (mandatory) and the ability to work in an international environment; Dutch is a strong plus but not required.
  • High level of rigor, responsiveness, and clarity in communication, especially when coordinating multiple stakeholders (marketing, sales, supply, brands).
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs, follow up on commercial actions, and ensure flawless execution of trade and promotional plans.
