You will handle the accounting of a Luxembourg SOPARFI, covering daily transactions, periodic closings and annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP. You will also contribute to IFRS reporting and work with external advisers to meet statutory and tax deadlines.

À propos de notre client

Our client is a Luxembourg-based investment holding company (SOPARFI). They are looking for an Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting of its holding and financing activities.

Description du poste

  • Maintain the general ledger and record daily accounting transactions.
  • Account for investments, intercompany loans, interest, dividends and related transactions.
  • Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare periodic closings and annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP.
  • Contribute to IFRS reporting, including adjustments and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor cash movements, prepare payments and maintain cash flow forecasts.
  • Support tax compliance and any applicable VAT obligations with external advisers.
  • Liaise with auditors and maintain complete supporting documentation.



Profil recherché

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Up to five years of relevant experience, ideally with Luxembourg holding companies or a corporate services provider.
  • Working knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
  • Familiarity with the accounting treatment of investments and intercompany financing.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Accuracy, sound organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French and English.



Conditions et Avantages

  • A permanent contract based in Luxembourg.
  • An annual gross salary of €55,000 - €75,000, depending on experience.
