Job Description

As an Freelance Business Development Manager your responsibilities are:

  • Support Partners and senior stakeholders in business development activities across M&A/Corporate practices
  • Prepare pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations
  • Coordinate and support marketing campaigns, webinars, and client events
  • Develop and maintain client-facing materials, credentials, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Support CRM and reporting activities through Salesforce and internal systems
  • Track opportunities, proposals, and business development initiatives
  • Collaborate with international Business Development teams across Europe
  • Support strategic initiatives for the growth of the practice across France, the Netherlands, Italy, and other EMEA regions
  • Contribute to brand visibility, awards submissions, and market positioning initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freelance Business Development Manager should have:

  • Experience in Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, Events, or Client Relationship Management within: international law firms / consulting firms /Big 4 / professional services environments
  • Experience supporting M&A/Corporate or advisory environments is a strong plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence interacting with senior professionals and Partners
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus
  • Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus
