Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the transport business unit, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage transport planning and performance, monitoring key KPIs such as fleet utilization, waiting times, productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Support commercial activities by translating customer requirements and business opportunities into profitable operational solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop management teams and employees, ensuring continuity, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Drive operational improvement initiatives and sustainability objectives, including the implementation and monitoring of environmental performance indicators.



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as the senior operational leader of a transport or logistics organization with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong track record in managing large transport operations, including fleet management, planning, and operational performance.
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to lead teams through periods of change and transition.
  • Hands-on and pragmatic leadership style, capable of ensuring stability while driving ongoing improvement projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, sales, and senior management.
