Job Description

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Act as project lead for the GDPR remediation initiative over an 8-month period
  • Translate high-level privacy strategy into practical, actionable implementation plans
  • Take a hands-on approach to executing privacy improvements across departments



Privacy Assessment & Gap Analysis

  • Conduct interviews with key stakeholders (HR, Quality, Finance, IT, Clinical teams)
  • Map data flows and processing activities, including identification of sensitive data
  • Assess current GDPR compliance status and identify risks and gaps



Implementation & Advisory

  • Provide pragmatic recommendations to improve privacy practices
  • Implement GDPR-compliant processes, controls, and documentation
  • Ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements



Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and coordinate a network of GDPR Champions across functions (HR, Quality, Finance, etc.)
  • Organize and lead regular working sessions and alignment meetings
  • Act as the central point of contact for privacy-related matters on-site

The Successful Applicant

ProfileExperience

  • Proven experience as a GDPR / Data Privacy Consultant or Privacy Manager
  • Strong experience in operational GDPR implementation (not purely advisory)
  • Background in regulated industries (biotech, pharma, medical devices, clinical research) is a strong asset
  • Experience working with global organizations is preferred



Skills

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally (hands-on)
  • Solid understanding of GDPR requirements and data protection frameworks
  • Experience in data mapping, risk assessment, and policy implementation



Languages

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory)
