Key Responsibilities

1. Sustainability Regulatory Strategy & Regulatory Change Leadership

  • Define and lead the firm's global sustainability regulatory strategy, ensuring alignment between enterprise sustainability objectives, regulatory requirements, and legal entity obligations.
  • Serve as strategic advisor on sustainability and climate-related regulatory developments, assessing regulatory impacts and advising senior management on emerging risks, opportunities, and implementation priorities.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable implementation strategies, governance frameworks, operating model enhancements, disclosure requirements, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of regulatory change, supervisory expectations, industry developments, and peer practices to inform strategic decision-making and enterprise prioritization.

2. Enterprise Regulatory Execution & Program Delivery

  • Lead enterprise-wide implementation of sustainability regulatory requirements across global and legal entity reporting obligations, driving delivery from regulatory interpretation through implementation, disclosure readiness, and business-as-usual integration.
  • Establish and oversee a strategic portfolio of sustainability regulatory initiatives, ensuring clear accountability, effective prioritization, timely delivery, and resolution of execution risks.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sustainability, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Functions, and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent and coordinated execution.
  • Maintain regulatory requirements traceability, implementation documentation, and disclosure inventories to support transparency, accountability, and audit readiness.

3. Regulatory Reporting, Disclosure Readiness & Assurance

  • Provide strategic oversight of sustainability and climate-related disclosures across enterprise and legal entity reporting, ensuring compliance, consistency, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Strengthen the firm's disclosure readiness through robust documentation standards, evidencing frameworks, controls, change management processes, and assurance support mechanisms.
  • Partner with Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit to embed sustainability regulatory requirements within the firm's governance and control environment and support assurance-ready execution.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of reporting capabilities, controls, and reporting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and regulatory resilience.

4. Governance, Operating Model & Accountability

  • Design and oversee the sustainability regulatory governance framework, including executive steering forums, legal entity governance engagement, escalation protocols, decision-making processes, and Board and Committee reporting.
  • Establish and maintain a scalable global operating model that balances enterprise consistency with jurisdictional and legal entity-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Drive governance, accountability, and control enhancement initiatives to ensure regulatory obligations are effectively owned, monitored, and executed across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and governance bodies on regulatory developments, implementation progress, key risks, dependencies, and strategic decisions.

5. Leadership, People Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse, multicultural, and geographically dispersed team of sustainability regulatory professionals, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture while building organizational capability and succession strength.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and governance forums, influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment on sustainability regulatory priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across regions, functions, and legal entities to support effective implementation and embed accountability for regulatory outcomes.
  • Represent the Sustainability Hub in interactions with internal governance forums, auditors, regulators, industry groups, investors, and other key stakeholders as required.

Profil recherché

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant experience in sustainability regulation, sustainable finance, ESG reporting, risk management, finance, controllership or related disciplines.
  • Deep expertise across global sustainability and climate-related regulatory frameworks, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, SEC climate-related requirements, CRR3, CRD VI and Pillar 3 ESG reporting.
  • Proven track record leading complex regulatory transformation programs across multiple jurisdictions, legal entities, and corporate functions.
  • Strong experience designing governance frameworks, operating models, disclosure processes, controls, and assurance-ready reporting environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, Boards, Committees, and governance forums.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and strategic execution capabilities.
