This is a senior HR legal and social relations position for an expert who can translate strategic HR objectives into clear, compliant, and operational HR rules and policies. You will act as a trusted advisor to management, play a central role in discussions with social partners, and help drive HR transformation in a complex and high-visibility environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a large, well-established Belgian organization operating in a structured and socially dynamic environment. The HR team plays a key role in supporting business performance, ensuring legal compliance, and managing constructive dialogue with unions and internal stakeholders.

You will join the HR department, within the team focused on HR regulation and negotiations with unions, and work closely with the department manager, HR teams, operational leadership, and the legal employer entity.

Job Description

  • Translate HR priorities into clear and compliant HR policies.
  • Assess the impact of HR regulatory changes on operations and processes.
  • Advise on complex HR regulation and social law matters.
  • Support sensitive files, including serious misconduct cases.
  • Coordinate with HR, operational and legal stakeholders.
  • Prepare union negotiations and supporting documentation.
  • Support HR policy evolution and dialogue with social partners.
  • Act as a mediator when needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree, ideally in Law.
  • Fluent Dutch and strong professional French.
  • Strong experience in HR regulation, Belgian social law and social relations.
  • Exposure to unions and collective labour relations.
  • Analytical, pragmatic and confident in advising senior stakeholders.
  • Diplomatic, structured and comfortable in sensitive social situations.
  • SAP HR knowledge is a plus.
