Job Description

  • Provide strategic legal advice on regulatory and HSE matters across international operations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, environmental, health and safety legislation
  • Support business activities by identifying legal risks and proposing practical mitigation strategies
  • Analyse complex legal and regulatory developments and assess their business impact
  • Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, compliance and sustainability teams
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing clear legal guidance
  • Draft, review and interpret legal documents related to regulatory and HSE matters
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and communicate implications to stakeholders
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects involving regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Present complex legal concepts in a practical and accessible manner to diverse audiences



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Law
  • Additional legal qualifications (LLM or equivalent) are considered an asset
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in regulatory and HSE law
  • Experience within an industrial, chemical, manufacturing, environmental, or highly regulated sector is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of international and European regulatory frameworks, including REACH, CLP, BPR, OSHD, WFD, ESPRS, PPWR, EPRTR and related legislation
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex international matrix organisation
  • Fluent in English
  • French is considered a strong advantage
