About Our Client

Our client, an international company located in the region of Aalst, is looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist to expand the Supply Chain team. This role is a challenging role with clear growth perspectives within the E2E SC organisation.

Job Description

As Order Fulfillment Specialist you will be responsible for following domains:Order Fulfillment & Orchestration

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order entry to delivery and invoicing, with a focus on ME shipments
  • Serve as a central orchestrator between internal stakeholders (Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Planning, Commercial) and external distributors
  • Identify and proactively manage revenue and inventory risks, driving mitigation actions to protect service and financial performance



Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Lead and deliver strategic continuous improvement initiatives within the Order Fulfillment organization.
  • Drive measurable improvements in:
    • On-time shipment and delivery performance (OTS / OTIF)
    • Forecast accuracy and demand alignment
    • Order fulfillment reliability and cycle times
  • Apply structured project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, clear scope management, and tangible business impact



Analytics & Performance Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor key fulfillment KPIs.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to support operational decisions and executive discussions
  • Use data analytics to proactively identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across the region



Stakeholder & Distributor Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic distributors, ensuring alignment on service levels, inventory positioning, and demand signals
  • Support cross-functional governance forums with fact-based insights and clear recommendations
  • Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset across internal teams and external partners

The Successful Applicant

  • You have a minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain role(s), ideally within order fulfillment, logistics, or distribution
  • Proven experience with shipments and exposure to complex international logistics environments
  • Demonstrated track record in (leading) projects that deliver measurable operational improvements
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge, including:
    • Order management
    • Logistics and transportation
    • Inventory management and risk mitigation
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, with strong proficiency in Power BI (reporting, visualization, performance tracking)
  • Solid understanding of service, revenue, and inventory trade-offs in a supply chain environment
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of any other language is an asset
  • You have strong project management skills and cross-functional communication skills
