Our client is expanding the finance team and is hiring a new accountant for their HQ in Brussels. You will be responsible for the statutory accounting and fiscal compliance.

Description du poste

In this role you will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • General accounting tasks
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
  • Review and control of the balance sheet
  • Preparation and filing of the annual accounts (NBB)
  • Submission of periodic VAT returns
  • Preparation of corporate income tax
  • Point of contact for audit matters
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Process optimization and automation



Profil recherché

For this position we are looking for someone that matches the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of BE GAAP
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, good command in English
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Analytical mindset
  • Team player with good communication skills
