Job Description

  • Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the Scandinavian market.
  • Analyze market opportunities, build a strong network, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and support local agents to drive market growth and commercial success.
  • Establish clear structures, processes, and action plans to ensure efficient market development.
  • Coach and train agents to effectively communicate the technical value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with agents to create strong first introductions with potential customers and build trust through both commercial and technical expertise.
  • Translate customer needs into commercial opportunities and transfer them to sales and engineering teams for further development.
  • Remain involved throughout the entire customer journey and foster long-term business growth.
  • Professionalize existing partnerships and continuously optimize commercial processes.
  • Support and initiate sales and marketing activities to further strengthen market presence.
  • During the initial phase, travel regularly throughout Scandinavia to gain a deep understanding of customers, agents, and market dynamics. Over time, the role will evolve toward strategic coordination and follow-up from Belgium.
  • Contribute to the potential establishment of future offices in Scandinavia and, at a later stage, take ownership of strategic European Key Accounts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, market development, or commercial project coordination within a technical or industrial environment.
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience within the manufacturing industry, process industry, or industrial technology sector.
  • Able to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and turn opportunities into tangible results.
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to connect stakeholders and coordinate complex collaborations.
  • Highly organized, takes ownership, and follows up projects in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
  • Excellent commercial, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Comfortable working in an international environment, fluent in English, willing to travel and knowledge of Dutch, French, German, and/or a Scandinavian language is considered a strong asset.
