Job Description

  • Assessing and analyzing credit applications
  • Evaluating financial statements, cash flow, and overall creditworthiness of borrowers.
  • Formulating recommendations and making credit decisions within delegated authorities.
  • Monitoring and managing the existing credit portfolio, identifying potential risks early.
  • Developing and enhancing credit risk models, frameworks, and policies.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to balance business growth and risk exposure.
  • Implementing strategies to mitigate credit losses.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Reporting on risk exposure, trends, and key metrics to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in credit risk, credit analysis, or risk management within financial services or banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.
  • Sound knowledge of credit risk models and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong decision-making skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, good level of English.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
