Job Description

  • Manage import and customs clearance processes from A to Z
  • Prepare, review and process customs documentation in compliance with local and international regulations
  • Ensure accurate tariff classification, customs declarations, and duty calculations
  • Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve customs or transportation issues
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and customs documentation
  • Support customs audits and provide required reports and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve customs and import processes
  • Keep up to date with changes in customs legislation and international trade regulations



The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or international logistics
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance
  • Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities
  • Familiar with customs systems, ERP platforms (SAP is a plus), and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • Able to prioritize, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
