Job Description

As a ESG Risk & Sustainable Finance Analyst, your responsibilities are:

  • Monitor and report on the impact of sustainability initiatives within the organization.Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Bank's ESG risk framework, policies, and governance.
  • Support the integration of ESG and climate risk into ICAAP, ILAAP, risk appetite, and credit processes.
  • Coordinate ESG-related regulatory reporting and disclosures, including Pillar III and CSRD/ESRS readiness work.
  • Monitor EU sustainable finance regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Bank.
  • Prepare ESG reporting and presentations for senior management, governance committees, and supervisory stakeholders.
  • Support carbon footprint measurement, ESG data management, and internal ESG tools.
  • Provide ESG due diligence support for corporate lending transactions and sustainable finance products.
  • Contribute to ESG awareness and capacity-building initiatives across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ESG Risk & Sustainable Finance Analyst should have:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in ESG risk, sustainable finance, climate risk, regulatory advisory, or a related banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of EU sustainable finance regulations, including CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, and ESG risk expectations.
  • Experience with prudential risk frameworks such as ICAAP, ILAAP, risk appetite, or credit risk would be highly valuable.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative ESG data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
  • Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Python, or Bloomberg would be a plus.
  • Proactive, collaborative, rigorous, and able to work independently in a lean environment.
