As an Inside Sales Officer, you are responsible for managing and processing incoming client requests in a fast-paced operational environment. This role is not focused on active selling, but rather on ensuring that customer inquiries are correctly understood, prioritized, and translated into accurate and timely quotations.You act as a central point of contact between customers and the commercial team, playing a key role in delivering efficient and high-quality service.

Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a shared mailbox, handling a high volume of incoming requests
  • Analyze and clarify customer needs, especially when requests are incomplete or unclear
  • Determine priorities and decide whether requests should be handled internally or escalated to field sales colleagues
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations using internal tools and systems
  • Ensure clear and professional communication with customers
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Business Developers
  • Handle mainly standard quotation requests independently after onboarding
  • Provide administrative and coordination support where needed
  • During quieter periods, assist with outreach efforts such as contacting prospects to schedule appointments
