Description du poste

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll professionals
  • Act as key contact for employees and managers on payroll matters
  • Supervise payroll systems, configuration, and quality controls
  • Oversee complex payroll calculations (e.g. holiday pay, group insurance cases, special statuses)
  • Ensure compliance with legal, fiscal, and internal policies
  • Implement and communicate regulatory and policy updates
  • Drive continuous improvement of payroll and HR processes
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders
  • Drive structured reporting and ensure auditability of payroll operations



Profil recherché

  • More than 7 years of experience in payroll management in Belgium
  • Proven people management experience with the ability to coach experts
  • Deep understanding of payroll processes, calculations, and legal frameworks
  • Ability to handle complex payroll environments with multiple statuses and exceptions
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally
  • Fluency in French and Dutch (one fluent, the other professional level)
  • Exposure to expatriate payroll management
  • Strong understanding of legislative changes and their operational impact
  • Assertive communication style with the ability to influence
  • Ability to build an autonomous, high-performing team
