Our client is looking for a Rail Transportation & Logistics Coordinator to ensure the smooth execution of rail transportation activities across Europe. This position offers a unique mix of operational coordination, issue resolution, and performance monitoring within a fast-paced international environment.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and monitor daily rail transportation activities across Europe.
  • Manage transport disruptions, delays, and operational escalations.
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and external transport partners.
  • Monitor wagon availability, utilization, and transport capacity.
  • Support sourcing of additional transport capacity when required.
  • Prepare operational reports and track logistics KPIs.
  • Follow up transport costs, documentation, and invoicing processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Initial experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and Excel.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic international environment.
  • Fluent English is required.
