About Our Client

As part of the finance team, you will take ownership of several legal entities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with the opportunity to gradually expand your responsibilities and make a visible impact on the organization's future.

Job Description

  • Manage the full accounting cycle for several entities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
  • Handle daily accounting operations, including purchase invoices, bank transactions, payments, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end closings, provisions, accruals, and supporting financial analyses.
  • Ensure timely VAT, Intrastat, and statutory reporting obligations are met.
  • Prepare annual accounts and support audit activities in collaboration with the Chief Accountant.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and support ad hoc finance projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Speaks fluent French and Dutch ; English is a great asset.
  • Has solid end-to-end accounting experience and is comfortable managing entities autonomously.
  • Has a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT, and statutory obligations.
  • Is structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrates ambition, curiosity, and a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities over time.
  • Thrives in a pragmatic, hands-on, and collaborative environment where initiative is valued.
