Our client is an international firm that provides legal services across different sectors. They are currently looking for a senior accountant that can work autonomously to support the finance manager.

Job Description

In this role you will be handling the A-Z accounting tasks, including the following:

  • General accounting tasks
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
  • Review and control of the balance sheet
  • Preparation and filing of the annual accounts (NBB)
  • Submission of periodic VAT returns
  • Preparation of corporate income tax
  • Point of contact for audit matters
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Process optimization and automation

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone that matches the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of BE GAAP
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, good command in English
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Analytical mindset
  • Team player with good communication skills
