Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities are:

    • Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and day-to-day logistics activities.
    • Keep warehouse and transportation systems up to date with accurate operational data.
    • Prepare and manage all necessary shipping, receiving, and dispatch documentation.
    • Track shipments, stock levels, and fleet activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
    • Assist with daily warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, order picking, and shipment preparation.
    • Identify and resolve routine issues related to deliveries, stock discrepancies, and transportation.
    • Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability procedures are consistently followed.
    • Work closely with Operations, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to maintain a high level of service.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and inventory control.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Operative should have:

  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • A proactive and organised approach to tasks.
  • The ability to handle physical work in a busy setting.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A valid forklift license is a plus but not mandatory.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, inventory control or transportation support.
  • Supply Chain or logistics certifications (e.g., CSCP) are a plus.



Skills

  • Knowledge of warehouse, inventory and transportation processes.
  • Experience using warehouse management and logistics systems.
