Our client is part of an established European banking group with a growing Private Banking and Wealth Management activity in Luxembourg.

The private bank serves international High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (HNW/UHNW) clients through investment advisory and discretionary portfolio management solutions, combining the expertise of its Luxembourg-based investment teams with a strong network of Private Bankers in Spain.

Job Description

As Wealth Advisor, you will act as the main investment contact in Luxembourg for a portfolio of existing UHNW private banking clients :

  • Act as the main investment and relationship contact in Luxembourg for a portfolio of Spanish UHNW clients.
  • Build strong working relationships with the Private Bankers in Spain who originate and own the wider client relationship.
  • Understand each client's objectives, risk profile and existing portfolio to identify relevant investment opportunities.
  • Prepare and present tailored investment proposals, primarily within an advisory model.
  • Advise clients on a broad range of investment solutions, including investment funds and multi-asset portfolio strategies.
  • Review and optimize existing portfolios, participate in periodic reviews of discretionary mandates.
  • Develop existing client relationships by identifying additional investment, financing or wealth management needs.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and ensure regular, high-quality coverage.
  • Support Private Bankers during client meetings and explain investment recommendations in a clear and technically credible way.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Wealth Advisor model, internal processes and collaboration between Luxembourg and Spain.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Wealth Advisor / Investment Advisor will have :

  • Solid experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Experience advising private clients on investment funds and broader multi-asset solutions.
  • Comfortable discussing investment strategy and presenting technically robust proposals to sophisticated clients.
  • Able to translate market analysis into clear and practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills, commercially minded, with an interest in developing existing relationships.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build trust quickly across different offices and cultures.
  • Humble and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute in an organization that is still evolving.
  • Comfortable working with managers and colleagues of different levels of seniority.
  • Spanish at native or fluent level and professional English are required. French is an advantage.
  • Based in Luxembourg and some travels to Spain.
