Job Description

  • Assist in the period-end closing process, ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
  • Partner with other departments to align financial control activities with strategic objectives.
  • Assist the team members and provide qualitative financial support.
  • Assist the team in improving financial end to end processes.
  • Assist in periodic forecasting, balance sheet reviews, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, financial reporting and ad hoc tasks necessary.
  • Deliver statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and Country GAAP, facilitating external audits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation (including AI) and improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting or financial controlling.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools such as PowerBI; familiarity with Robotics, Machine Learning, and AI.
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS and Country GAAP compliance.
  • ERP literacy, preferably SAP or another major ERP system.
  • Strong communication and change agent mentality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
