About Our Client

Our client is an international industrial company specialized in designing and delivering steel construction solutions for large industrial and commercial buildings. To support several ongoing projects in Belgium, they are looking for a Freelance Project Coordinator to strengthen the project team.

Job Description

As a Freelance Project Coordinator your responsibilities are:

  • Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination of multiple construction projects
  • Monitor project planning, timelines, and deliverables
  • Act as liaison between project teams, factories, suppliers, and logistics partners
  • Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow up project progress and proactively identify risks or delays
  • Participate in site meetings and provide regular project status updates
  • Assist with project documentation, reporting, and planning
  • Support the transition from engineering into on-site execution

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freelance Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-8 years of experience in project coordination or project management within construction or industrial projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Hands-on, proactive and quick-thinking personality
  • Comfortable working closely with site teams, factories, and suppliers
  • Fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus
