As Freelance Trade Marketeer, you will join the local Brand Team as a maternity replacement from September 2026 until February 2027. You will take ownership of key Q4 activities while supporting agency management, PR and influencer initiatives, budget planning and the marketing roadmap for the upcoming year.

Our client is an international home appliances company with a strong presence in Belgium and the Netherlands. The local marketing team works closely with central teams, KAMs and external agencies to drive brand visibility, commercial performance and product launches.

Job Description

As a Freelance Trade Marketeer your responsibilities are:

  • Ensure the execution of Q4, BlackFriday and Christmas activities ;
  • Follow up on marketing and client pitches with central teams ;
  • Manage PR and influencer agencies, including upcoming agency selection ;
  • Evaluate and negotiate with new agency partners and marketing suppliers ;
  • Monitor and optimise marketing budgets and spending ;
  • Support revenue generation planning for new products and campaigns ;
  • Maintain ongoing marketing processes, activities and reporting ;
  • Work closely with KAMs and Brand Teams across Belgium and the Netherlands ;

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freelance Trade Marketeer should have:

  • Experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing or Marketing within retail ;
  • Proven experience managing agencies and external stakeholders ;
  • Strong background in PR, influencer marketing and agency selection ;
  • Good understanding of the Dutch retail market ;
  • Experience with budget management and marketing planning ;
  • Highly structured, hands-on and able to manage multiple priorities ;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong advantage
