Job Description

Head of Industrial Performance & Controlling

You will play a central role in monitoring and driving operational performance, helping business leaders translate industrial activities into measurable financial outcomes.

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will contribute to both short-term performance delivery and long-term value creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving financial and operational performance management across manufacturing activities
Leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes for industrial operations
Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and resource allocation
Analyzing cost structures, operational efficiencies and key performance drivers
Supporting business leaders through data-driven recommendations and robust financial insights
Challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making through fact-based analysis
Developing and enhancing performance management tools, reporting frameworks and financial governance practices
Supporting investment evaluations, business cases and transformation initiatives
Monitoring operational risks and ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening business performance
Collaborating with finance and operational teams across multiple locations and functions.

The Successful Applicant

Head of Industrial Performance & Controlling

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with a genuine understanding of industrial operations.

You bring:

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or Business Administration
Strong leadership skills
Significant experience in industrial finance, controlling or performance management within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost management, profitability analysis and operational performance measurement
Experience operating in international and matrix organizations
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
Strong business acumen coupled with excellent analytical skills
Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
Experience supporting operational and strategic decision-making
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English with knowledge of French and/or Dutch
Open to travel occasionally.
