The legal team plays a key role in supporting HR-related matters across multiple business entities, providing expert guidance on employment and wellbeing legislation while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Job Description

Legal Advice & Expertise

  • Provide legal advice on workplace wellbeing and employment law matters.
  • Interpret legislation and case law and translate them into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Draft and update internal policies and regulations.
  • Monitor legal developments and communicate their impact across the organization.



Litigation & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate judicial and administrative disputes related to wellbeing matters.
  • Manage relationships with external law firms.
  • Support and guide internal stakeholders handling employment-related cases.



Projects & Knowledge Sharing

  • Contribute to cross-functional legal and HR projects.
  • Support broader HR legal matters when required.
  • Develop legal know-how through training materials, presentations, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Law.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience within a legal department or law firm.
  • Proven exposure to employment law, particularly workplace wellbeing matters.
  • Strong knowledge of anti-discrimination legislation, medical absences, return-to-work processes, and occupational accident matters.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French but good command of the other national language.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
