Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar Jobs Added 09/09/2026Global company active in Healthcare and Life SciencesLocation: ZaventemAbout Our ClientOur customer is an international company active in the healthcare industry (medical devices) having its European headquarters based in Zaventem.Job DescriptionAs Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for the full, accurate and timely management of the company's payroll administration for all employees, in full compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.You play a central role in optimising payroll processes, with a strong affinity for Compensation & Benefits, and actively contribute to broader HR projects.Key responsibilities:- Ensure the accurate execution of the monthly payroll cycle, including salary calculations, benefits, taxes and social security contributions.- Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytics, providing detailed insights into payroll costs, HR trends and other key performance indicators.- Work closely with the external payroll provider (e.g. SD Worx) to guarantee a smooth and reliable payroll operation.- Manage and continuously improve processes related to leave, absences and employee benefits (insurance plans, meal vouchers, etc.).- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits-related queries, with the ability to clearly explain payroll related processes.- Actively contribute to HR projects, including initiatives aimed at improving payroll and compensation efficiency and the implementation of new HR tools or solutions.- Ensure full compliance with social and tax legislation and promote best practices within the payroll function.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:- You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience- You can demonstrate more than 4 years of experience in payroll management.
