Job Description

As a Regulatory & Data Protection Officer your responsibilities are:

  • Act as a hands-on compliance and data protection partner to the Luxembourg team
  • Support the build-out of the local compliance function within a growing platform
  • Ensure alignment with Luxembourg regulatory requirements and Group standards
  • Adapt and implement Group policies and frameworks at local level
  • Contribute to the creation of practical compliance checklists and processes
  • Support the regulatory review of transactions, ensuring required documentation is complete
  • Work closely with Legal on gaps in transaction documentation and compliance aspects
  • Assist in integrating Luxembourg activities into Group governance and reporting
  • Maintain the ROPA and support ongoing data mapping activities
  • Contribute to continuous data management and regulatory documentation updates
  • Support GDPR topics including DPIAs, third-party oversight and incident readiness
  • Run monitoring activities and control checks linked to operational processes
  • Support audits and regulatory requests when required
  • Collaborate with Group Compliance, DPO and international teams
  • Contribute to training and awareness initiatives for business teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regulatory & Data Protection Officer should have:

  • Around 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, or a regulatory role (financial services / credit institutions preferred)
  • Good understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory environment
  • Practical exposure to GDPR / data protection topics (ROPA, data mapping, DPIAs)
  • Strong ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls
  • Hands-on, structured and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable in a growing and evolving organization
