Job Description

As Regulatory Officer, you will act as the primary legal and regulatory specialist for the Dutch market.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a key point of contact with Dutch authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Coordinating regulatory interactions in collaboration with compliance, legal and external advisors
  • Managing license maintenance, renewals and related regulatory obligations
  • Overseeing all statutory notification requirements and submissions to Dutch authorities
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on business activities
  • Translating regulatory requirements into practical internal processes, controls and guidelines
  • Providing legal advice on commercial initiatives, marketing campaigns, partnerships and new product features
  • Supporting internal stakeholders on regulatory risk assessments and compliance matters
  • Coordinating litigation matters involving customers, business partners or authorities
  • Managing escalated complaints with potential regulatory implications
  • Advising on terms and conditions, promotional rules and responsible measures
  • Supporting customer support, compliance and responsible gaming teams on legal matters
  • Ensuring customer-facing processes remain aligned with applicable regulations
  • Creating and maintaining internal regulatory guidelines and training materials
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple countries and business functions

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Dutch Law
  • Between 1 and 5 years of professional experience in a legal or regulatory environment
  • Experience with Dutch law is essential
  • Experience gained in private practice, in-house legal departments, regulatory bodies or compliance functions is welcomed
  • Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • French is considered a strong asset
  • Strong interest in regulatory and compliance matters
  • Ability to analyse complex legal situations and provide pragmatic solutions
  • Autonomous while maintaining a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the Netherlands when required
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools and digital collaboration platforms
