Job Description

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management policies.
  • Design and implement risk assessment methodologies, including categorization and likelihood measurement.
  • Foster risk management skills and awareness through training needs identification.
  • Build and manage a risk register, facilitating risk evaluation and treatment selection, including emerging risks.
  • Track action plan progress, risk indicators, and thresholds.
  • Coordinate the development and communication of risk reports.
  • Prepare regulatory reports for executive and board review.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of risk management systems.
  • Maintain a holistic organizational view of the risk profile.
  • Provide specialized risk information as requested by the board.



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Economics or related field, with at least 5 years' consulting experience.
  • Deep understanding of insurance sector solvency regulations and supervisory authorities.
  • Expertise in risk calculation (e.g., cyber, climate) and solvency computation.
  • Skilled in process analysis and risk prioritization (insurance, financial, operational, strategic, compliance).
  • Proficiency in risk management tools.
  • Demonstrates independence, organization, rigor, critical thinking, and adaptability.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent in French and English; German or Luxembourgish advantageous.
