Job Description

As a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist your responsibilities are:

  • Support and execute annual compensation and reward cycles.
  • Contribute to the performance management process.
  • Manage benchmarking activities, salary surveys and market analysis.
  • Update salary ranges, pay structures and compensation frameworks.
  • Participate in projects linked to pay transparency, gender pay gap analysis and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform job gradings and contribute to the broader HR architecture.
  • Support the maintenance of C&B policies, frameworks and reporting obligations.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR teams, business leaders and internal stakeholders on C&B matters.
  • Design pragmatic and innovative solutions aligned with business objectives, people strategy and employee engagement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist should have:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of reward cycles, benchmarking, salary structures and job grading.
  • Fluency in English and French; any additional language is an asset.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex data and translate it into clear recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis and process optimization.
  • Ability to manage several complex topics simultaneously while meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in a regulated environment would be a strong advantage.
