Our client is looking for a Senior Manager - Real Estate Finance : a senior banking professional to lead and further develop its real estate financing activity in Luxembourg.

Functie

As Senior Manager - Real Estate Finance you will :

  • Lead and develop the real estate financing activity in Luxembourg.
  • Manage, coach and support a team of banking professionals.
  • Develop relationships with developers, investors, funds, family offices and institutional clients.
  • Identify new financing opportunities across investment, development and structured transactions.
  • Drive profitable growth while ensuring strong credit and risk discipline.
  • Review and challenge complex financing proposals before credit approval.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, market trends, valuations, cash flows and ESG risks.
  • Promote cross-selling with other business lines.
  • Contribute to product evolution, process improvement and client experience.
  • Represent the institution within the Luxembourg real estate market.

Profiel

The ideal candidate is a senior real estate finance or corporate banking professional with strong commercial credibility, proven leadership experience and solid credit expertise.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate finance, structured finance or corporate banking
  • At least 3 years of experience in team management
  • Proven experience in structuring, analyzing and managing complex real estate financing transactions
  • Strong understanding of the Luxembourg banking and real estate environment
  • Fluency in French, German and English is expected; Luxembourgish would be considered a strong asset
  • Strong leadership and ability to engage teams
  • Commercial drive and client-oriented mindset
  • You bring strong knowledge of Real Estate investment and development financing; Structured and syndicated loan transactions; Real estate cash-flow analysis and Property valuation principles
