Job Description

As an Operational Risk Senior Analyst your responsibilities are:

  • Identify and assess operational risks, ensuring proper mitigation strategies are implemented.
  • Monitor and report on risk exposure and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk considerations are integrated into business processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support the implementation of risk management tools and systems for enhanced monitoring.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operational Risk Senior Analyst should have:

  • A strong academic background in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operational risk management within the financial services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using risk management tools and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  • An ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
