Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end Belgian payroll and personnel administration
  • Ensure data accuracy across HR and payroll systems
  • Handle complex payroll calculations (holiday allowance, regimes, CLA's)
  • Manage time and attendance systems and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare payroll reports and support ad hoc analysis
  • Act as a key contact for payroll, social law, and time registration queries
  • Collaborate closely with HR, HRBP, and Talent Acquisition
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with social, fiscal, and labor legislation
  • Participate in audits (SOX) and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to structuring payroll processes in a fast-evolving environment



The Successful Applicant

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/payroll
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Belgian payroll
  • Strong expertise in complex payroll environments
  • Hands-on approach with deep knowledge of social legislation
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g. eBlox, Protime, Workday)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Experience interacting with social partners
  • High level of accuracy, ownership, and discretion

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments
  • Exposure to SOX or audit frameworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, less structured environment
  • Mindset focused on improving processes and building structure
