About Our Client

Our client is a global engineering andsupply‑chain services provider operating across 17 countries and supporting more than 25 industrial customers worldwide. They work with leading companies in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, marine, energy, and precision machining. To strengthen their team in Belgium, they are looking for a Site Engineer who will support a demanding aerospace client on‑site , working closely with production and manufacturing engineering teams.

Job Description

  • Support customer manufacturing engineering teams on tooling, cutting tools, abrasives, and machining processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide recommendations, and ensure reliable technical service on the production floor.
  • Analyse production needs, propose alternatives, and support optimisation projects.
  • Collaborate with supply and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and on‑time delivery.
  • Ensure availability of critical tooling and support inventory optimisation.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for the on‑site customer.
  • Build strong relationships with production engineers, management, and tooling suppliers.
  • Support cost‑saving initiatives and contribute to productivity improvements.
  • Monitor technical KPIs: delivery performance, tooling reliability, cost optimisation, etc.
  • Collaborate with the local Belgian team (supply chain, logistics, junior engineer).
  • Provide guidance and support to junior and operational staff as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, medical devices, CNC machining, marine, or energy or other relevant field).
  • Experience in production engineering or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain environments is an advantage.
  • Hands‑on mentality and strong problem‑solving capability.
  • English & French (professional working proficiency).
