A leading international mobility group is looking for a Social Relations Manager to play a strategic role in shaping and professionalising employee relations across Belgium.

As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced social relations expert to strengthen social dialogue, ensure compliance with Belgian labour legislation and support long-term organisational growth.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating social relations at a national level. Acting as a key partner to HR, Operations and employee representative bodies, you will ensure a consistent and compliant approach to employee relations across multiple sites in Belgium.

Your main Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Central and Local Works Councils
  • Supporting management teams and HR stakeholders in social dialogue matters
  • Leading and coordinating Belgian Social Elections
  • Managing collective bargaining agreements and work regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with Belgian labour legislation
  • Coordinating social inspections and audit preparation
  • Developing and professionalising social consultation processes and governance
  • Acting as the internal expert for complex employee relations topics
  • Supporting constructive relationships with trade unions and social partners



Location: Diegem, with regular travel across Belgian sites.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or Human Ressources
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HR, Employee Relations or HR Business Partner positions within operational environments
  • Strong expertise in Belgian social legislation
  • Proven experience with:
    • Works Councils
    • Social Elections
    • Trade Union Relations
    • Social Inspections
    • Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Diplomatic, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and French
  • English is considered an asset
