Job Description

  • Define and implement the energy sourcing and procurement strategy across the Benelux region, covering electricity, natural gas, and related energy solutions.
  • Manage tender processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and strategic supplier relationships to ensure competitive and secure energy supply.
  • Develop and oversee energy risk management frameworks, including hedging strategies, cost forecasting, and market exposure management.
  • Lead the commercial assessment and contracting of renewable energy projects, Corporate PPAs, battery storage solutions, and energy flexibility initiatives.
  • Monitor energy market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends, translating insights into procurement strategies and business opportunities.
  • Act as the key interface between operational sites, technical teams, and corporate procurement functions to ensure alignment on energy-related initiatives and contracts.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4+ proven years of experience in energy procurement, energy markets, energy regulation, renewable energy contracting, or a related field.
  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Management, or a comparable discipline.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with demonstrated experience in negotiation, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and management levels.
  • Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English; Dutch is an asset.
