Our client is looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Expert to manage demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management and supply chain performance for an international manufacturing site. The role combines operational execution, stakeholder management and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective flow of raw materials and semi-finished goods across the supply chain.

Job Description

  • Manage demand planning, production scheduling and inventory levels for raw materials and semi-finished goods
  • Translate sales requirements and production capacity into effective production plans and MRP requirements
  • Monitor stock levels, warehouse capacity and material availability while proactively resolving supply bottlenecks
  • Analyse supply chain performance through KPIs, reporting and management information
  • Coordinate logistics activities, intercompany shipments and international supply flows
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence
  • Lead and coach a team of three direct reports while driving continuous improvement and standardisation initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Production Planning or Logistics within an industrial environment
  • Proven experience working with international stakeholders and global supply chain networks
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Supply Chain tools and advanced Excel
  • Analytical problem solver with a proactive and hands-on mindset
  • Fluent in English and a conversational level in Dutch is required
  • Able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
