About Our Client

Our client, part of an international industrial group located between Antwerp and Mechelen, is looking for a Supply Chain Purchasing & System Lead.

Job Description

As Supply Chain Purchasing & System Lead you will have 2 main responsabilities: Supply Chain Purchasing Lead

  • End-to-end purchasing ownership
    Take full ownership of purchasing outcomes across raw materials and indirect dependencies, ensuring alignment with production plans and reliable execution
  • Inventory control & discipline
    Manage inventory levels, accuracy, and aging, driving root-cause analysis while balancing material availability with working capital targets
  • Process standardization & structural improvement
    Establish clear processes, decision rules, and escalation mechanisms to ensure predictable, scalable, and repeatable performance
  • Operational stability
    Minimise disruptions by eliminating ad-hoc ordering, manual workarounds, and system bypasses, ensuring disciplined use of Dynamics 365



Supply Chain System Lead

  • System ownership & governance (Dynamics 365)
    Ensure consistent system usage, aligned processes, and clear parameter settings across the organisation
  • Continuous improvement
    Identify gaps between business needs and system behaviour and drive structured improvements in system setup and ways of working
  • Data quality & cross-functional enablement
    Safeguard master data accuracy and support teams (Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, Logistics) in correct and consistent system usage
  • Data-driven decision making
    Drive the evolution of BI tools from reporting instruments to actionable decision-making platforms

In this role you will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in procurement and/or production planning within a complex manufacturing environment is a strong asset
  • Strong affinity with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365), excellent Excel skills, and familiarity with BI tools
  • Analytical and structured mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Energetic and engaging team player
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
