Our client is an innovative and fast-growing company looking to strengthen its Finance team with a Freelance Business Controller.

Job Description

As a Freelance Business Controller your responsibilities are:

  • Support the monthly closing process and ensure data accuracy ;
  • Partner with operational teams on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance ;
  • Challenge business assumptions and provide financial insights ;
  • Prepare, validate, and upload budget data into financial systems ;
  • Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) ;
  • Perform financial analyses and management reporting ;
  • Identify and implement process improvements across Finance ;
  • Contribute to the development of reporting tools and dashboards on Power BI

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freelance Business Controller should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or FP&A Analyst ;
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing ;
  • Comfortable combining financial analysis with administrative finance tasks ;
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a strong asset ;
  • Analytical, autonomous, curious, and solution-oriented ;
  • Fluent in French; English & Dutch is a plus ;
