As Freelance Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of construction projects, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

As part of a growing project organization, they are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to support the successful execution of complex customer projects in Belgium

Description du poste

As a Freelance Project Manager your responsibilities are:

  • Manage projects from kick-off through execution to final handover
  • Coordinate all project stakeholders, including clients, design & engineering teams, installers, subcontractors, and logistics partners
  • Organize and lead site meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews
  • Monitor project scope, planning, budget, quality, and execution
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, EHS requirements, and local regulations
  • Act as the primary contact for all execution-related matters
  • Identify, manage, and proactively escalate project risks and deviations
  • Ensure a smooth transition from the commercial phase into project execution
  • Prepare project reporting on milestones, progress, risks, and cost implications
  • Deliver successful project closure and capture lessons learned

Profil recherché

A successful Freelance Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as Project Manager within construction, building materials, industrial projects, or technical installations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, site activities, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, quality, and risk management
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements on construction sites
  • Hands-on, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
