Job Description

As a Policy Officer your responsibilities are:

  • Analyze and assess consumer policies with a focus on economic perspectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective advocacy at the European and international levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance consumer interests.
  • Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to influence decision-making processes.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support policy positions.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, events, and consultations with policymakers and other stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise on economic aspects of consumer protection and market practices.
  • Contribute to the overall objectives of the Marketing & Agency department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Policy Officer should have:

  • A Master's degree in Economics or Business Studies.
  • Strong experience in European or international policy and advocacy.
  • Proficiency in assessing consumer policy areas, particularly from an economic perspective.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent level of English both written and verbal, French and Dutch is a plus.
